Players attempting to obtain Mulan and Mushu in Disney Dreamlight Valley are currently encountering a significant obstacle, as the Dapper Delights update has caused a crucial task to malfunction.
To unlock the addition of Mulan and Mushu to the Valley, players must first complete a series of tasks in the Mulan Realm. This includes Protecting the Camp, in which players must clean up after a landslide, plant trees, and craft Sandbags to prevent flooding.
Despite the recent update to Disney Dreamlight Valley, players are still experiencing difficulties in completing the second part of the quest.
Protecting the Camp Tree Planting Task Impacted by Bug
During the quest, Mulan entrusts the player with 10 Tree Seeds to be planted and watered throughout the area. The player must then locate and utilize 10 designated patches of soil in order to fulfill this task of the quest.
Despite the release of the Dapper Delights update, players have continued to report that certain spots are still missing.
“I am in desperate need of assistance. I have searched tirelessly for the final two holes needed to complete the protecting the camp quest and I am at my wits’ end,”stated a Reddit user, who was only able to successfully plant eight of the required seeds.

“Another player exclaimed, ‘Despite watching videos and trying various methods, I am still unable to locate the last two holes needed to plant the tree seeds. I have even untracked the quest, left the realm, and restarted the game, but the holes have yet to appear!’ “
In contrast to other gardening tasks, players are unable to use their Shovel to expand the number of planting spaces. This means that those, like myself, who are unable to locate the remaining hole or two, will be unable to advance in the game.
Thankfully, developer Gameloft is cognizant of the situation. In a response sent via email and shared on Reddit by a player, customer service reassured that “we are aware of the issue with the ‘Protecting the Camp’ quest happening for certain players.”
“Our team is actively addressing the issue to ensure that all affected players receive a prompt solution.”
Fortunately, although the duration is uncertain, the Dapper Delights update has provided players with ample activities to occupy their time, such as the addition of the Star Path and the ability to unlock Tiana.
