Disney World Introduces Line-Skip Pass Priced Up to $450 Beyond Ticket Costs

Disney World is rolling out a new tier for its popular line-skipping passes across its theme parks, with prices reaching up to $450 per person, per day, in addition to standard ticket fees.

Frequent visitors to Disney parks are well aware of the lengthy queues that some rides can generate. Guests can spend several hours waiting just to enjoy a few minutes on their favorite attraction.

For those willing to pay extra, Disney offers the chance to bypass these lengthy lines at many sought-after rides. The Lightning Lane – a dedicated, expedited line for select attractions – has been available for purchase for some time, either through single ride skips or a ‘Multi Pass’.

The Multi Pass, which has been the budget-friendly choice for guests during peak crowd times, costs around $32 per person, depending on the specific ride and date. However, a new tier is set to join the Lightning Lane offerings, enhancing the experience with even more line-skip opportunities at a higher price point.

This new offering, known as the Premier Pass, allows guests to skip the lines for each Lightning Lane at a specific park one time. For instance, if you’re experiencing Disney World, this means you can navigate quicker lines for all the top attractions without scheduling distinct time slots for each.

Unlike the traditional line skips or the Multi-Pass, the Premier Pass provides flexible access to Lightning Lanes. However, this convenience comes at a hefty price point.

Launching at Disneyland on October 23, followed by Disney World on October 30, the Premier Pass can cost as much as $450 USD. This figure is an additional charge on top of your standard theme park admission.

Prices for this pass may fluctuate during “peak travel times,” and notably, at Disney World, only guests staying at Disney-affiliated hotels can purchase the Premier Pass.
