Doctor Mike Discusses the Differences Between Kai Cenat’s McDonald’s Collaboration and Lunchly

YouTuber Doctor Mike has expressed skepticism about the validity of comparing the collaborations between MrBeast and Logan Paul for Lunchly with Kai Cenat’s partnership with McDonald’s promoting the Chicken Big Mac.

In September, Logan Paul, alongside KSI and MrBeast, introduced a new product called Lunchly, incorporating Prime Hydration and Feastables chocolate. This ready-to-eat meal was advertised as a “better for you” alternative to Lunchables, prompting immediate criticism from the online community.

Shortly after this, Kai Cenat launched a collaboration with McDonald’s to promote the new Chicken Big Mac, which led many social media users to question why Lunchly faced harsh criticism while Kai’s fast-food deal seemingly did not.

Some users likened Kai’s promotion of fast food to the claims made by Logan, KSI, and MrBeast about Lunchly being a healthier food option.

However, Doctor Mike disagrees with this comparison. In his latest video, he elaborated on why he considers Kai’s partnership with McDonald’s and Ryan Trahan’s candy company to differ fundamentally from the health claims associated with Lunchly.

“I don’t see these situations as comparable,” he stated. “While candy can lead to health issues due to excessive consumption and sugar, it is not classified as a health food.”

“Conversely, to claim that Lunchly is healthy or a healthier alternative is to make assertions that, if proven false, could attract significant backlash.”

With respect to Kai Cenat’s collaboration, Doctor Mike remarked that while it might not present a positive image, it should not be equated with an assertion of healthiness.

Despite his reservations about recent influencer collaborations and product launches, he advocates for content creators branching out into entrepreneurship.

“Overall, I believe it’s a positive trend for creators to become entrepreneurs, and I support their efforts,” he noted. “Seeing creators thrive in this domain excites all of us. We celebrate each other’s successes, especially when they’re grounded in honesty.”

“If you aim to challenge ‘Big Candy,’ then truly innovate and create an improved candy product. And if you wish to revolutionize the lunch market, then genuinely develop a healthier alternative that lives up to the claim, so I can back it wholeheartedly in my videos,” he emphasized.

Logan Paul has previously shared that he refrained from creating a genuinely healthier version of Lunchables because he didn’t want to offer something he wouldn’t consume himself.
