Oh also referenced Yoo Ah-in’s visit to the hospital on April 29th, 2022, remarking on the actor’s significant weight loss and increase in suicidal thoughts. Yoo Ah-in expressed feeling anxious, nervous, and easily distracted, which were documented and addressed with medication by Oh.

According to the evidence submitted by Yoo Ah-in’s legal representative, as shown in Oh’s medical records, Yoo Ah-in expressed, “I have experienced significant weight loss and physical issues. Despite trying my best, my energy levels have decreased and I have been struggling with thoughts of suicide. I also feel like I am experiencing new symptoms that I have not had before.”

In October of last year, Yoo Ah-in was charged with multiple offenses, including the habitual use of propofol, purchasing sleeping pills under a false identity, and instructing others to smoke marijuana. Additionally, he was accused of destroying evidence. His friend Choi was also indicted for smoking marijuana, making threats, and fleeing from the law.

The prosecution has stated that Yoo Ah-in was prescribed propofol on 181 occasions at hospitals in Seoul between September 2020 and March 2022. They also allege that he received illegal prescriptions for sleeping pills 44 times between May 2021 and August 2022, using someone else’s name. Yoo Ah-in had previously been sought for arrest by both the police and prosecution, but the court has denied all requests for his arrest.

During the first trial in December of last year, Yoo Ah-in confessed to only smoking marijuana. He refuted all other accusations, stating “These matters are open to discussion.”In regards to the charges of administering drugs other than propofol, the actor argued, “There are certain elements that have been exaggerated.”

The actor has denied all allegations that he instructed YouTube star Kim to smoke marijuana and destroyed evidence. He stated, “I did not suggest or provide marijuana to anyone. Furthermore, the suggestion that I requested the deletion of text messages is false. Text messages cannot be considered as evidence in a criminal case, and even if they were true, deleting them does not constitute the crime of evidence destruction. I strongly refute these claims and maintain that I never sent any text messages to Kim.”
