Does Nightingale have multiplayer or co-op?

As Nightingale’s release approaches, many players are wondering if the game can be played with friends and if it has multiplayer aspects such as PvP. Here is the answer to this question.

Nightingale is a new survival game developed by a team of former members of Bioware who have banded together under the name Inflexion Games. They are ready to bring a new vision to the survival game genre, combining exploration, RPG elements and procedural generation in their new world.

In Nightingale, players will be able to explore procedurally generated levels created by them and their choices.

So, with so much exploration to do, players are wondering if Nightingale has multiplayer or cooperative aspects. So here’s everything you need to know.

Inflexion Games

You can play Nightingale with your friends and connect each other’s worlds through portals.

Can you play Nightingale in multiplayer or co-op?

Yes, Nightingale can be played with up to six players in a PvE-oriented session, with dedicated servers and no host restrictions. The game will feature a main city called “The Guard” where players can interact with social mechanics, but shared worlds will be limited to six players.

Inflexion Games has confirmed that PvP is planned for the game, but to avoid early grieving, they will limit this feature and stick to a PvE experience. The game revolves around the use of cards that determine how the game world is built, with different biomes, monsters, and weather conditions.

These cards will be the key to unlocking PvP in the future, according to the developers. But, while the game hits Early Access on February 20, 2024, the player versus player functionality will not be available on that date.

We will update this article as soon as we have more information on PvP.
