Gamers eager to try out No Rest For the Wicked on PC won’t have to wait much longer, as the upcoming ARPG is slated to launch on Steam in early access. Naturally, there has been speculation among interested players about the multiplayer capabilities of the upcoming release and to what extent it will be available.
No Rest For the Wicked: Is Multiplayer Mode Available?
If a person starts playing the game during the early access period, they will not have the option to play in co-op multiplayer mode. Although Early Access officially begins on April 18, those who join on the first day will only have access to a single-player experience. This may be a bit disappointing for some, but there is still good news.
No Rest For the Wicked: Co-Op Multiplayer Possibility
Despite not being available at launch, the option to play with friends will be introduced in the early access title very soon. Moon Studios, the developer, has provided a roadmap outlining the upcoming major updates, which will include this feature.
According to the current roadmap, the addition of co-op multiplayer is expected to be the first crucial update. This feature will be included in Update 1, allowing players to engage in co-op gameplay in the near future. Although the release date for the update has not yet been disclosed, it would be wise to await its official announcement.
As part of the second update, Moon Studios has announced the addition of a new story content called “The Breaches”. During the early access phase, it is highly probable that they will also introduce a plethora of additional content.
Eventually, No Rest For the Wicked will also be available on consoles. However, an official release date has not been declared. This is expected to occur after the game’s early access period on PC concludes and it receives a full launch. Unfortunately, Moon Studios has chosen to discontinue support for previous-generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
