Dominos Introduces New Pizza Sizes to Address Inflation Worries

Domino’s has just introduced a new promotion to counteract the trend of rival fast food chains raising prices while reducing product sizes.

Many popular fast food chains have faced backlash due to significant price hikes in 2023. McDonald’s, in particular, received criticism after announcing record-high prices, which increased by 10% within a single year, contributing to a decline in customers, according to the CEO.

Additionally, Burger King has also been in the spotlight for raising the cost of certain menu items, with the Texas Whopper meal seeing a twelve percent increase and the Big Fish meal skyrocketing by fifty-three percent.

In a September 9 press release, Joe Jordan, president of Domino’s U.S. and global services, announced the introduction of new “affordable meal options” and promotions in response to inflation.

Dominos has launched a new deal for the month of September

“Many companies are shrinking products to avoid raising prices,” Jordan noted. He emphasized that this new offer represents the chain’s “biggest and best offer” made even better.

From September 9 to September 29, 2024, customers ordering a mix-and-match deal online will be able to upgrade one of their medium pizzas to a large at no additional cost as part of the MOREflation promotion.

Domino’s has even crafted a catchy slogan for this new offer, stating on its website, “Get MOREflation, not shrinkflation.”

This deal is currently only available at Domino’s locations throughout the United States, with no information yet on whether or when it may be accessible to customers in other regions.

For those located in the United States, the new MOREflation promotion from Domino’s will be available until September 29.
