Following the attempted assassination in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump took to the social media platform ‘Truth Social’ on July 14th to express his gratitude towards The United States Secret Service and all law enforcement for their swift response to the shooting in Butler. He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the victim who lost their life at the rally, as well as to the family of another individual who sustained serious injuries. Trump also expressed shock at the occurrence of such a tragedy in our country, stating that no information is currently available about the shooter who has since passed away.
Reflecting on the moment he learned he had been shot, the former US President recalled, “A bullet had struck the upper part of my right ear. I was aware right away that something was amiss as I heard a sharp whizzing noise and gunshots, and felt the bullet tear through my skin. There was a lot of bleeding, so I quickly understood what had occurred. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
Ivanka Trump, daughter of the victim in the incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, also extended her appreciation to Law Enforcement for their prompt response. She expressed her heartfelt thanks for the support and prayers for her father and the other victims of the tragic violence that occurred today. Ivanka also conveyed her gratitude to the Secret Service and all the law enforcement officials for their swift and resolute actions. She emphasized her ongoing prayers for the well-being of our nation and concluded by saying, “Dad, I love you today and always.”
In a recent phone conversation, Donald Trump Jr. shared that his father, Trump, is in good health. He also emphasized that his father’s determination to protect America remains unwavering, stating, “He will always continue to fight for our country.”
Immediately following the occurrence, Donald Trump was quickly escorted out of his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Law enforcement officials reported that the perpetrator had been apprehended and neutralized, and they are treating it as an attempted assassination. Trump is unharmed, however one attendee at the rally tragically passed away and two others sustained serious injuries.
The campaign team for current US President Joe Biden has issued a letter to all staff members requesting that they refrain from making any comments about the issue on social media or in public settings. Additionally, all outside contact has been temporarily suspended and TV advertisements have been taken down.
While attending a church service in Rehoboth, Delaware, Joe Biden was informed of a shooting that had occurred. He stated that he had attempted to contact Trump and condemned acts of political violence.
