On the afternoon of the 21st, the media preview of the movie “Don’t Open the Door”(also translated as “Target”) was held at COEX MEGABOX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Director Park Hee-kun appeared with the cast of Shin Hye-sun, Kim Sung-kyun, and Lee Joo-young.
The film is a series of films from the 2018 thriller “Life Locking Crisis”starring Gong Hyo-jin. The film tells the story of Soo-hyun’s life-and-death struggle from a victim of online second-hand trading fraud to a criminal target in an instant. Shin Hye Sun plays an ordinary office worker who works in a decoration company and lives tremblingly for life all day long. Regarding the new role challenge, Shin Hye Sun said that “Soo Hyun”in the film has a strong execution ability and is full of courage in any choice. She herself also wants to use this courage to share with the audience. Kim Sung Kyun cooperated with Director Lin again after “Ming Tang”, playing the role of a criminal policeman who pursues to the end. After “DP: Deserter 2″at the end of July, Kim Sung Kyun participated in the variety show “Follow Brother to Maya”and the new movie “MOVING”were also released at the same time. He seemed quite busy and said that he had actually rested for 9 months, and now it’s just that the works he shot before were released almost at the same time.
In the end, Director Park Hee-kun said that the phenomenon of second-hand transactions is very common now, and I often hear from friends that they will meet various sellers or buyers, so I find it very interesting. I want to find these materials and make them into themes, hoping to resonate with the public.
In addition, “Don’t Open the Door”will be officially released in South Korea on August 30.
