Dr Disrespect announces streaming return soon

Dr Disrespect has recently declared that he will be resuming streaming “soon,”more than a month after confessing to being banned from Twitch for sending inappropriate messages to a minor.

The controversial streamer known as Dr Disrespect, whose real name is Guy Beahm, announced that he will have plenty to talk about upon his return from a prolonged family vacation.

Former Twitch employees came forward in June, revealing that Beahm had been banned from the platform in 2020 for messages he had sent to a minor back in 2017.

In a lengthy post on X that has since been deleted, Doc admitted to the allegations and apologized for his behavior. However, he also promised to make a comeback in the realm of content creation at a later time.

“But I am definitely not leaving,”he reiterated in the June 25 post. “I have grown and changed since making that mistake years ago. As mentioned on stream, I will be taking an extended vacation with my family and returning with a weight lifted off my shoulders.”

Doc restated his assertions on August 14, confirming his intention to make a comeback. However, he did not specify a definite date for his return.

“Although we are currently enjoying our vacation, we will be back soon, Champs. There is plenty for us to catch up on and discuss. As always, “Yayaya yayaya yayaya”follows my tweets.”

Earlier in the day, the streamer had removed his post explaining the reason for his Twitch ban.

Before, he had been sharing a sequence of enigmatic pictures, including one which featured his tweet regarding the prohibition attached to a fishing bobber with his company’s emblem.

It remains uncertain where Dr Disrespect will choose to stream upon his return, particularly considering that YouTube has demonetized his channel, providing him with minimal incentive to continue broadcasting on the platform.

Despite its status as a competitor, Kick could potentially be one of the only platforms to permit Doc’s presence. Despite his admission, the site’s team decided against banning him preemptively. In fact, they had previously offered him $10M annually to stream on their platform, but he turned it down, insisting that he was worth $50M instead.
