Dr Disrespect made his return to streaming by playing Deadlock, but his entire team abandoned him in his first match. This marked his comeback to live broadcasting on September 6, following a two-month hiatus during which he admitted to inappropriate messaging with a minor. On September 11, he decided to test out Valve’s early build of Deadlock.
Upon entering the game, Dr Disrespect went through the tutorial and familiarized himself with various heroes before engaging in a match against bots. Once he felt comfortable with the MOBA’s mechanics, he opted for a match against real players.
Choosing Vindicta as his hero, he moved to the lane as soon as the match commenced. However, chaos ensued when the first teammate, Grey Talon, exited the game after being eliminated in just a few minutes, followed swiftly by the remaining four players.
“Okay! I guess I’m the only one in this one,” Dr Disrespect commented when he discovered he was alone.

After a few frustrating minutes of attempting to play solo, he decided to quit the match.
“I was wondering, why does it feel like there’s no one else [in the game]?” Dr Disrespect pondered while preparing for his second match.
He did not elaborate much on the disconnects later and continued to play the Valve game while the servers remained active. It’s unclear whether his teammates left in protest upon recognizing him or simply abandoned the match after Grey Talon disconnected.
Fortunately, Dr Disrespect’s subsequent matches did not see any departures from his teammates, who played until the match’s conclusion. Afterward, he switched to playing Escape From Tarkov and continued his stream.
