After confirming that his permanent Twitch ban was due to sending inappropriate messages to a minor, Dr Disrespect has made a return to social media.
In June 2024, it was reported by former Twitch employees that Dr Disrespect had been banned from the platform in 2020 due to allegations of sending inappropriate direct messages to a minor.
The streamer, whose real name is Guy Beahm, acknowledged the validity of the allegations but maintained that there were no malicious intentions behind the messages. He also stated that he would be taking a prolonged break from creating content.
In the month of July, Doc replaced his X header with a fishing bobber featuring his brand’s logo. Almost ten days passed before the streamer made another post, finally breaking his silence since acknowledging the accusations.
Beahm shared a picture of himself seated at a board game table, with a chess board placed in front of him. However, despite having his own set of chess pieces, his opponent can be seen playing with checkers.

Viewers flooded the comments section, bringing up the scandal involving a minor, and Doc responded to certain replies.

Despite many negative remarks, there were some positive ones. One person asked, “Did you manage to improve your vertical leap at all?”
Doc also mentioned that he had obtained a tan.

Despite his return to social media, it remains uncertain what his next step will be. However, Beahm had previously assured his fans that he would resume streaming.
After the scandal, YouTube has demonetized his channel, numerous brands have severed ties with him, and even his closest streaming companions, such as TimTheTatman, have stopped showing support for him.
Despite admitting to messaging a minor, the site’s staff mentioned that it was “too soon”to ban Doc preemptively, leaving him with the option to relocate to Kick.
