Dr Disrespect Proposes Major YouTube Streaming Alteration Amid Rumble Transition

Dr. Disrespect is contemplating a significant shift in his streaming strategy as he embarks on a new partnership with Rumble, a move that has left many of his fans feeling disgruntled.

Following his controversial ban from Twitch in 2020, Dr. Disrespect found a new home on YouTube, where he streamed for four years. However, after facing demonetization in 2024, he hinted at exploring new platforms. Initially, there was speculation about a potential lucrative deal with KICK, where he sought a staggering $50 million contract. Yet, in a surprising turn of events, he announced in late November that he would be joining Rumble Gaming not just as a streamer but also as a co-owner, which includes a component of paid “premium”content for his audience.

Potential Shift Away from YouTube Streams

On December 2, Dr. Disrespect officially kicked off his streaming on the new platform, although he has kept a portion of his broadcast available for free on YouTube. However, he has recently indicated that he might discontinue streaming the free segment on YouTube, aligning its duration with his Rumble broadcasts. This potential decision has sparked significant discontent among his fanbase.

The Two-Time shared on social media, “I like some of the suggestions being thrown around. I agree, perhaps we close down the YT skybox first, keep Rumble wide open, and then eventually go into VIP mode,” as he responded to a moderator addressing fan dissatisfaction concerning the paid streams.

Reactions from fans have varied widely. Some argue that abandoning YouTube could hinder Dr. Disrespect’s visibility, with one critic stating, “This is a bad idea. Doc on YouTube keeps his name out in the open. Rumble only will not grow Document’s audience.” Others echoed similar sentiments, noting that his YouTube streams typically attract a larger viewership compared to Rumble, creating a dilemma for his brand.

A section of his followers suggested that shifting focus away from YouTube might help drive his audience over to Rumble. However, many have reported issues using the Rumble app, particularly on mobile devices.

Despite the ongoing transition, Dr. Disrespect continues to enjoy a substantial following on YouTube, often averaging approximately 2,000 more viewers during his multistream sessions compared to his new platform.
