Dr Disrespect, known off-screen as Guy Beahm, has firmly dismissed any suggestions of publicly disclosing the chat logs related to his Twitch ban. Despite ongoing demands for transparency, he maintains that his decision is final.
The controversy surrounding Dr Disrespect’s permanent ban from Twitch in June 2020 resurfaced when several former Twitch employees revealed the platform’s reasons for the action. They alleged that Beahm had communicated inappropriate messages to an underage individual using Twitch’s Whisper feature, a claim he initially confirmed in a now-deleted tweet.
In a later broadcast, however, Dr Disrespect asserted that his messages had been misinterpreted. He alleged that Twitch manipulated the situation, leading to a legal dispute that resulted in the platform settling by paying him his full contract amount.
Dr Disrespect Discusses Reasons for Not Releasing Twitch Messages
During a live stream on December 17, a viewer confronted Dr Disrespect, suggesting he should “take accountability”for his actions, stating it was troubling that he had interacted with someone underage.
In response, Beahm provocatively asked, “Oh, yeah? What was said?” demonstrating his refusal to accept blame without context.
Oh yeah? What was said?

The viewer pressed him, noting that not knowing the details allows speculation to thrive: “If you showed the logs, it would clear things up. But when you don’t, it seems you are hiding something.”
Dr Disrespect swiftly countered this viewpoint, claiming that those demanding the logs were assuming the worst of him without justification. “Why would I need to show logs to anyone on the internet? I don’t know you or them,” he stated, emphasizing that those who boundlessly speculate are not individuals he wishes to associate with.
That’s where you’re wrong. Why would I need to show logs to anyone on the internet. I don’t know you or them. The people assuming the worst are people I don’t want to associate with or build a community around. They are the vocal minority that never liked the Doc from the…

He added, “Real people understand the reality of the situation… we didn’t do anything wrong. 8 figures in the back pocket because of it too. Liberal Twitch f**ked us.”
This situation is not the first instance where Beahm has pointed fingers at Twitch staff for his issues. In November, he referenced a “woke mind virus” as being part of the reason for his ban.
Since his Twitch ban and the ensuing drama—along with the leaked allegations—Dr Disrespect faced challenges on YouTube, resulting in demonetization, which ultimately led him to partner with Rumble, where he now leads their gaming segment.
