Dr Disrespect Reveals New Streaming Partner After Twitch Ban Revelation

Dr Disrespect has partnered with a familiar streaming associate for his inaugural collaboration following his disclosure regarding the Twitch ban resulting from sending inappropriate direct messages to a minor.

In June, ex-employees of Twitch revealed details about the circumstances surrounding Dr Disrespect’s enigmatic ban, claiming he was caught sending messages to a minor through the platform’s Whispers functionality.

Doc, whose real name is Guy Beahm, acknowledged the sent messages in a tweet that has since been deleted. After a hiatus from streaming, he made a comeback, providing clarity on the ban and stating that the messages had been misinterpreted.

Since he transitioned to YouTube, Doc has resumed gaming streams. However, unlike his previous collaborations, his former streaming companions such as NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman have publicly distanced themselves from him.

On October 7, for the first time since the dispute surrounding his ban, Dr Disrespect was accompanied by his old friend Viss, rekindling their partnership known as “VISSRESPECT.”

During the controversy, Viss stood out as one of the few streamers publicly supporting Dr Disrespect.

“I will always uphold the principle of innocent until proven guilty. It’s a standard we would all want for ourselves. I’m not in a competition to be ‘correct!’ or to ruin someone’s life without sufficient proof,” he expressed on June 25.

The day prior to their stream, Viss revealed their collaboration by posting a broadcast thumbnail featuring cartoon representations of himself and Dr Disrespect. The following day, Doc confirmed the pairing.

“Joining forces with Viss for some classic VISSRESPECT. I’m aiming to stack win after win after win on PUBG today,” he stated.

Before teaming up with Viss on YouTube, Doc shared pointed remarks about former streaming acquaintances who have distanced themselves, while commending Viss.

“There are online networks, but real-life connections matter as well. It’s amusing because over the years, I let someone enter my circle, which I usually don’t allow. I introduced them to numerous opportunities to grow their network,” he commented.

“I took them to events. At one point, even my daughter referred to them as uncle and aunty, but when this mess happened, what did they do? They turned their backs. Totally fake individuals,” he added.

This unexpected collaboration occurs after ZLaner, Doc’s former Warzone partner, mentioned that although he “wishes” to stream alongside Dr Disrespect, he refrains due to concerns over potential sponsorship losses.

At present, at least one streamer has allied with Doc. This partnership arises as Beahm seeks YouTube Partnership again after being demonetized following his admission about the reasons for his Twitch ban.
