Dr Disrespect, the popular YouTube personality, has recently opened up about his ideas for the scrapped game, Deadrop. This announcement comes just weeks after Midnight Society, his game studio, revealed its permanent closure.
Founded in 2021, Midnight Society aimed to create an extraction shooter game in collaboration with veteran developers from franchises like Call of Duty and Halo. The initiative quickly garnered attention, engaging fans for feedback on early versions of the game, Deadrop.
However, in June 2024, the studio severed ties with Dr Disrespect following his admission regarding inappropriate communication with a minor, which led to his ban from Twitch. Seven months later, Midnight Society officially shut down.
