Dr Disrespect may have hinted at plans to stream on X, formerly known as Twitter, during his return broadcast after a two-month break from content creation.
On September 6, Dr Disrespect resumed streaming on YouTube and addressed allegations against him, claiming Twitch was behind his downfall.
He confirmed that he will keep streaming on YouTube and plans to reapply for monetization on September 25.
However, an ‘Easter egg’ during his stream suggested an exciting next step. After encountering a ‘technical glitch’ in the ‘Champions Arena,’ he transitioned to a laboratory backdrop, showcasing a half-constructed CGI “robo-Doc” that sputtered and sparked on a table.
“Subscribe on X,” the robot exclaimed, leading to some shushing from the Doc as he pretended the bot had spilled the beans about his plans to stream on the platform.
“We don’t have our subscribe button just yet on X,” he remarked in the skit. “Don’t give things away, man. Just hold off.”

Currently, Doc is demonetized on YouTube and permanently banned from Twitch, which likely leads him to depend on fan donations. This situation makes streaming exclusive content on X an appealing option to enhance his income.
Previously, it was unclear where Doc would stream next due to these challenges. He had also declined offers from Kick, stating that the platform would need to offer him $50 million to consider moving from YouTube.
It’s becoming increasingly common for creators to broaden their reach across different platforms. The rise of multi-streaming has gained traction, particularly after streamers TimTheTatMan and DrLupo began broadcasting on both Twitch and YouTube after their exclusivity contracts expired in September.
It appears that the Doc is following a similar path. It remains to be seen whether he will regain partnership status on YouTube or if he will take up Kick’s offer.
