Dr Pepper and Krispy Kreme’s 2024 Football Collaboration Leaked

Famous Instagram food blogger Markie Devo is known for his habit of revealing upcoming fast food menus weeks in advance. And now, it seems that an exciting collaboration between Krispy Kreme and Dr Pepper may be happening in August.

The chain was among the first to reintroduce pumpkin spice this year on August 12, but this leak indicates that Krispy Kreme has more August releases in store.

The start of the football season is scheduled for August 24, and these treats with a sports theme are an ideal way to begin.

A post on Devo’s Instagram featured an image that hinted at a partnership between Krispy Kreme and Dr Pepper. Since he acknowledges a Krispy Kreme employee as the source, it is safe to say that this leak is trustworthy.

The upcoming collaboration between Dr Pepper and Krispy Kreme will feature the following lineup:

  • Kreme-filled football: This is an unglazed donut filled with white creme and dipped in chocolate icing. It’s decorated with white piping to look like a football.
  • The Buttercreme goals include a classic glazed donut topped with green icing, colorful rainbow sprinkles, and a yellow buttercream goalpost.
  • The Dr Pepper Kickoff is made with an original glazed donut, featuring a Dr Pepper cream topping, red and white sprinkles, and a chocolate Dr Pepper logo.

The poster features a picture of a Dr Pepper fountain drink, but it is not explicitly stated if Krispy Kreme branches will also begin offering Dr Pepper.

Upon news of another drop from Krispy Kreme, fans on Instagram were taken aback by the frequency of releases. One person commented, “These recent days have truly taught me to anticipate the unexpected, otherwise it might just show up in my next meal.”

Some were ecstatic about the news, exclaiming, “I must have this immediately!”and “I can’t stop hitting the like button!”

Despite some skepticism, others pointed out: “As someone who loves Dr Pepper, I can’t help but feel disappointed by this lazy collaboration. How is there not a donut flavor that incorporates Dr Pepper?”

The specific date this release will be available in stores and the duration of its availability are currently unknown.

There is another highly anticipated collaboration between a sweet treat and a soda that has been making waves on the internet this week. Oreo and Coca-Cola have recently revealed their ‘Besties’ partnership, which features Coze Zero in Oreo flavor and Oreo cookies in Coca-Cola flavor.
