Dr. Vegapunk’s Latest Proclamation in One Piece May Set Up His Own Einstein Moment

One Piece fans can expect the highly anticipated chapter 1113 to be released on April 29, 2024. The spoilers for this chapter are expected to be thrilling and possibly the most intense the series has received so far, as fans will finally receive eerie information about the One Piece universe.

The chapter’s spoilers revealed that Vegapunk had divulged the ‘truth of the world,’ including the prediction that the Grand Line would eventually submerge. Fans were left to wonder how this brilliant individual had come to such an unexpected conclusion, even after his passing.

As it happens, this may be connected to the individual whom Vegapunk’s character is said to be inspired by – arguably the most renowned physicist in history. His theory of time and space could greatly align with Vegapunk’s ability to foresee the future and present it to the audience of the Grand Line.

Note: The following article includes possible spoilers from the One Piece manga series and reflects the author’s personal opinion.

Based on the spoilers for this chapter, Saint Mars discovered Vegapunk’s brain preserved in a tank, causing the Gorosei to question whether it was still alive after the physical body’s death. In an attempt to stop Vegapunk’s potential transmission, the Gorosei destroyed the Transponder Snail found at the scene, but they were ultimately deceived.

In the previous chapter, the attention turned to Bonney, who was being backed into a corner by Saint Nusjurro. Just in time, Sanji appeared and rescued Bonney by delivering a powerful kick to the Gorosei. Despite Nusjuro’s attempts to retaliate, he was thwarted by the intervention of the giants Oimo and Kashii.

On Nami’s side, Saint Saturn made his appearance, causing Robin to freeze up as she recognized him from the Ohara incident. The Straw Hats quickly sprang into action, with Brook and Usopp taking on Saint Saturn while Nami and Robin escaped using Zeus. Meanwhile, the other Gorosei were strategizing on how to eliminate Egghead, but ultimately decided against it to avoid depleting the valuable Mother Flame.

The scene returns to the screens where Vegapunk had initially started his live broadcast from the Grand Line, which was watched by people from all of the Blues. He began by confessing to two crimes that would ultimately lead to his demise. He had pre-programmed the stream to activate upon the death of his physical body, known as Stella.

Ultimately, he begins to disclose the ‘truth of the world,’ initially revealing the ending of his discussion – that the world will eventually submerge into the ocean. However, he omits any information on the possible cause of this event, and the chapter concludes with a depiction of mermaids and whales.

It is possible that Dr. Vegapunk drew inspiration from the renowned physicist and scientist, Albert Einstein. Einstein’s groundbreaking theory of relativity revolutionized the field of physics and had a significant impact on other related disciplines.

According to the theory, time and space are interrelated, suggesting that an individual’s movement can affect the speed of their time. This concept can be applied to Vegapunk’s initial appearance in the series, where he was trapped underground. It can be argued that he was traveling through a wormhole, a phenomenon described by Einstein’s theory of relativity.

Vegapunk may have knowledge of the Grand Line sinking into the ocean because he could have traveled through a wormhole, a hypothetical structure connecting two distant points in different spaces or times. This would allow him to see the event in the future.

Additionally, this could be a potential warning from Vegapunk, as his stream may be coming from the future. It is possible that he is plotting against the World Government by revealing such an unusual occurrence.

Final thoughts

As mentioned in the previous chapters, Imu’s destruction of the Lulusia Kingdom caused it to disappear from the Grand Line. It was predicted that this event would lead to a rise in sea levels, which could have been deduced by Vegapunk.

Just like Einstein, Vegapunk may not have made any discoveries due to his unique perspective of the world. Therefore, it’s best to take this article with skepticism and wait for the official confirmation in the upcoming chapter.
