Dragon Ball Daima Episode 2: Goku and Allies Gear Up for Journey to the Demon Realm as Glorio Lands on Earth

The second episode of Dragon Ball Daima unveiled Gomah’s wish that transformed Goku and his companions into young children. As they geared up to track an ominous presence leading to the demon realm, they encounter a newcomer named Glorio.

In the earlier episode, viewers were introduced to Gomah, the new ruler of the Demon Realm, along with his ally Degesu. Their plan revolved around utilizing Earth’s Dragon Balls to summon the Evil Third Eye. However, before they could proceed, they needed to eliminate any potential threats, particularly targeting Goku and his friends, the heroes who had previously vanquished Majin Buu.

Entitled ‘Glorio,’ Dragon Ball Daima’s second episode commenced with Shenron reverting all fighters who had battled Majin Buu into childhood. Just as Gomah was on the cusp of wishing for the Evil Third Eye, it became clear that Shenron had only granted three wishes to those who consistently summoned him. Left without alternatives on Earth, Gomah and Degesu proceeded to abduct a young Dende before racing back to the Demon Realm with Neva.

Meanwhile, Goku and his friends were in the process of figuring out how they had been turned into children. Upon sensing an unsettling presence at the temple, Supreme Kai and Kibito teleported to join Goku and Piccolo. There, they uncovered the truth about Dende’s abduction by Demon Realm inhabitants. Supreme Kai immediately recognized Degesu as one of the mysterious figures, while Piccolo was taken aback at the mention of Neva, the Legendary Namekian who stayed in the Demon Realm to safeguard the Dragon Balls.

Determined to pursue the culprits, Supreme Kai requested Kibito to fetch the spaceship he had once used to leave the Demon Realm. Unfortunately, the ship was in disrepair. Hence, Goku suggested involving Bulma for repairs. Kibito then brought Bulma to the temple, accompanied by Vegeta, who was eager to confront those who had shrunk him.

Though Bulma could repair the spaceship, she estimated it would take ten days. In the meantime, Goku and his friends set about preparing for the inevitable confrontation. Goku opted to equip his Nyoibo by first checking in with Korin and then Master Roshi. Luckily, he found the Nyoibo back at the Kame House, repurposed for drying clothes.

As Goku returned to the temple and demonstrated his prowess with the Nyoibo, our heroes began to discuss the Demon Realm over dinner. This was when they were caught off guard by the sudden entrance of Glorio.

Originating from the Third Demon Realm, Glorio sought Goku’s help to take down King Gomah. This revelation allowed Supreme Kai to deduce that Gomah was the mastermind behind the conspiracy, which included a third shadowy figure. With this understanding, Supreme Kai resolved to accompany Goku and Glorio into the Demon Realm. Although Vegeta, Kibito, and Piccolo had to remain behind, Bulma believed she could repair Supreme Kai’s ship quicker than anticipated, enabling them to join Goku and Supreme Kai later.
