New characters join the world of Dragon Ball Daima
On Friday, July 19th, 2024, the main key visual and new trailer for the highly anticipated anime, Dragon Ball Daima, were revealed on the official website of Dragon Ball.
The recently revealed key visual features Goku (mini) and Supreme Kai (mini) on an exciting adventure, riding a blue dragon. The image also introduces two new characters who will make their debut in Dragon Ball Daima. Glorio is seen piloting the plane, while the other character is known as Masked Majin.
The main visual displays three mysterious worlds in the background, which could possibly be the terrains where the anime is set.
The trailer provides fans with clues about upcoming events. It is apparent that once Goku and his friends are transformed into miniature versions of themselves, they will encounter a new character named Glorio at The Lookout. This could be where Glorio informs Goku and the others about the villain, prompting Goku and Supreme Kai to team up with the new character in their quest to find the antagonist.
Immediately after, the trailer showcases Goku and his companions journeying through different planets and engaging in multiple intense fights. Moreover, the trailer provides a sneak peek of the two additional characters, Masked Majin and Gomah. While Masked Majin appears amiable, Gomah’s actions in the trailer hint at his possible role as the antagonist or an ally of the same.
Lastly, the anime also provided viewers with a glimpse of the character designs for the upcoming series. While familiar characters like Goku, Supreme Kai, Vegeta, and Piccolo are easily recognizable in their miniature forms, this is not the case for the new characters.
Gomah, the character on the far left, remains shrouded in mystery. However, the trailer features him intently observing Goku and his companions from a peculiar spot. His appearance seems to draw inspiration from Universe 11’s inhabitants, with a clown-like face similar to Belmod’s and an attire reminiscent of the Pride Troopers’ uniform.
The upcoming character, Masked Majin, remains a mystery as the anime has yet to unveil much about them. However, there are speculations that they may join forces with Goku and his friends on their mission. Another new addition is Glorio, who bears a striking resemblance to Mira, the antagonist from Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Despite this, Glorio appears to be on Goku’s side. Fans eagerly await more details on these characters.
