Discover the limited Special Finishers available in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero and learn how to unlock and execute each one effectively.
The resurgence of the Budokai Tenkaichi franchise with Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has captivated gamers worldwide, breaking records and gathering a vast playerbase.
One of the enjoyable aspects of playing through Sparking Zero is uncovering various Easter eggs and special features throughout the game.
The game appeals not only to avid fighting game enthusiasts but also to long-time fans of the Dragon Ball series, thanks to elements like the engaging What-if Scenarios found in each character’s Episode Battle storyline, alongside special dialogue interactions.
A standout component many players might have yet to explore is the inclusion of Special Finishers.
These powerful moves not only deal massive damage but also activate spectacular animations. While there are a limited number of Special Finishers available, here’s your guide to all of them in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, along with tips on how to unleash them in combat.
Complete List of Special Finishers in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
Each character in Sparking Zero possesses an Ultimate blast that becomes accessible when your Sparking Meter is fully charged. However, only three characters feature unique Special Finishers:
- Goku (Z-Mid) Super Saiyan
- Master Roshi
- Goku (Z-End) Super Saiyan 3
To trigger these finisher moves, you’ll need to charge your Sparking meter and successfully execute your Ultimate blast. Remember, the Special Finisher becomes available only if it delivers the final blow to your opponent, so aim to weaken their health significantly before launching your attack.
Goku (Z-Mid) Super Saiyan: Angry Kamehameha
The Angry Kamehameha is my personal favorite Special Finisher in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero due to its incredible backstory.
In the Dragon Ball Z series, Goku faces off against Frieza, who, after pleading for mercy, tricks Goku by attempting to attack him instead of retreating. Enraged, Goku retaliates with the Angry Kamehameha, ultimately defeating Frieza once and for all.
Activating this Special Finisher will complete Whis’s Special Finisher Mission 1 Wish, rewarding you with 20,000 Zeni.
Master Roshi: Evil Containment Wave
The Evil Containment Wave is a signature technique of Master Roshi, which he even teaches to Goku in the anime.
When executed, this move captures the opponent in a small, sealed bottle. Once completed, Master Roshi celebrates his victory by throwing up a double peace sign.
Successfully using this finisher will fulfill Whis’s Special Finisher Mission 2 and grant you 20,000 Zeni.
Goku (Z-End) Super Saiyan 3: Dragon Fist
The Dragon Fist is arguably the most cinematic Special Finisher, or Ultimate Blast, in the game. In this move, Goku charges directly at his opponent and delivers a tremendous blow, culminating in a massive golden dragon that obliterates the competition.
While not everyone may favor the Super Saiyan 3 form, this Special Finisher beautifully showcases the character’s potential.
Executing this move successfully will complete Whis’s Special Finisher Mission 3, rewarding you with an additional 20,000 Zeni.
For players enjoying the Episode Battle mode in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, be sure to explore how to unlock and complete all the what-if scenarios for every character’s storyline.
