One of the standout features of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is its thrilling missions, complemented by intense battles. The game’s vast adventure is rich with side quests, different paths, and optional challenges that players can tackle during their fights. Nevertheless, certain alternative paths can be quite elusive, such as the Arrival on Planet Namek.
As the inaugural mission of the Planet Namek Arc within Goku’s Saga in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, this route unfolds one month after the team departs, following Goku’s receipt of an SOS message from Planet Namek. Now rejuvenated, Goku embarks on his journey to the planet, honing his skills throughout the voyage and surpassing his previous limits of power.
In addition to Goku, the notorious Frieza, the universe’s emperor, arrives, eager to collect the Dragon Balls. A newly revived Vegeta also seeks the same treasure. He initially manages to take down Frieza’s minions; however, Frieza summons his elite fighters, known as the Ginyu Force. Shortly thereafter, Goku makes his entrance and confronts Racoome.
The next challenge revolves around the Ginyu Force, which includes Jeice and Burter. Your opponent will depend on the route you choose, and there are already reports from players indicating that this alternate route is particularly difficult. Here’s how to successfully navigate both paths.
Alternative Path: Overcome Jeice
Interestingly, the straightforward approach involves battling Jeice, making it the Alternate path that players can opt for.
To follow this route, simply progress through the narrative until Jeice confronts Goku. Defeat him swiftly, causing Burter to retreat back to Ginyu. However, ensure you do not deflect any of Jeice’s Crusher Balls.
Successfully completing this will reward you with 15,000 Zeni and experience points.
Canonical Path: Defeat Burter
The canonical route presents the most formidable challenge, with numerous players expressing their struggles regarding how to effectively combat Burter.
In this case, the instruction to “not deflect Jeice’s Crusher Ball” is somewhat misleading. In reality, you need to deflect Jeice’s Crusher Ball to provoke Burter to join the fray.
Many users have suggested that this might be an error in translation, which can lead to confusion.
If you find that deflecting the Crusher Ball isn’t yielding success, try adjusting the game’s difficulty to a lower setting, as alternate routes will not be enabled at this level.
And there you have it! That’s how to successfully complete both routes for the Arrival on Planet Namek mission chain.
