Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Modder Creates Epic Goku and Gohan Fusion Design

One dedicated modder for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has answered the desires of fans everywhere by crafting a stunning fusion of Goku and Gohan.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, developed by Spike Chunsoft, has quickly become a sensation in the gaming community.

The title has garnered favorable reviews from both critics and players, leading to millions of copies sold globally and a substantial player base.

Although the game features an expansive roster of characters to explore and master, fans are eager for additional characters to enhance their gameplay experience. With the promise of upcoming DLC packs introducing new fighters like Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, there’s much for players to eagerly anticipate.

Nonetheless, modders have taken it upon themselves to enrich the game with other exciting characters. One notable modder gained significant attention online after developing a fusion character of Goku and Gohan, complete with a unique aesthetic and a spectacular transformation sequence.

Introducing modder Fishki, who posted a clip on X (formerly known as Twitter) showcasing a fusion scene and design featuring Goku and Gohan.

This character has been embraced by the community under the name “Gokhan,” fabricated in the mod by the duo using the Potara earrings to merge. The clip exploded in popularity, racking up 1.7 million views in under a day, with fans clamoring for this inclusion in the game.

In the Dragon Ball universe, fusion is a powerful technique allowing two warriors to meld their abilities into a singular entity. Throughout the series, Goku and Vegeta have undergone fusion many times, as have their sons, Trunks and Gotenks, who also fused into Gotenks.

For a long time, fans have yearned to see Goku and Gohan perform a fusion, which has yet to occur, despite their close encounter during the Buu Saga when Gohan was tragically absorbed by the villain.

Considering that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero features What-if Campaign pathways that highlight various alternate scenarios that haven’t been showcased in the anime, some fans were “fully expecting this to be integrated into the game,” expressing disappointment that the developers “missed the opportunity” to include it.
