Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Players Criticize Limited Customization Options

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has quickly gained immense popularity, but players are voicing their dissatisfaction with the game’s limited customization options.

Since its early access launch, fans have been lauding Dragon Ball Sparking Zero for introducing enhancements to the classic combat system, while its captivating animation style greatly enriches the overall gaming experience.

However, despite the surge in player enthusiasm and engagement, not all aspects are flawless. In addition to concerns about being reported for winning in ranked play, the community is especially vocal about the customization limitations.

In a discussion on Reddit, one participant expressed feeling misled regarding the extent of customization available in the game, sharing an image that promised players could “customize every character to suit their personal preferences and play style.”

The lack of cosmetic options has resonated with many players. One dissatisfied gamer remarked that “a staggering 80% of characters lack any alternative outfits,” citing Cell, Boo, Frieza, and Raditz as prime examples of this issue.

An additional player echoed these sentiments, stating, “It’s definitely not as impressive as it appeared on paper. The absence of aura customization was a significant letdown for me.” Another user labeled the feature as “poor,” lamenting the lack of diverse move customization akin to Raging Blast 2.

“I’m really disappointed that we haven’t seen Hercules’s jet pack. I would have loved quirky accessories, even if they seemed out of place, like having Goten with a halo or a party hat,” another commenter noted.

“All I want is the turtleneck outfit for Super Broly, man. Is that really too much to ask?” someone else remarked. Others have suggested additional outfits for customization, including Buu Saga Trunks, Arlia Vegeta, and School Uniform Gohan, among various others.

While the current customization offerings are somewhat constrained, players can look forward to future updates, as the game has three DLC packs planned, promising a wealth of new content on the horizon.
