Dredge: Guide to Find All Sea Monsters

As you go on your fishing adventure in Dredge, you will realize that the ocean is not only a tranquil and serene environment, but also one fraught with peril and the unknown. Unpredictable weather, deadly sea animals, and other strange perils hiding beneath the depths await you.

As you move through the story, you will encounter stories about terrifying creatures lurking in the depths of the archipelago. Certain sea monsters may appear to be myths at first, but as you progress through the game, you will discover that they are all too real. This guide will go over different sea monsters in Dredge and how to find them.

Ghost Ship

Nighttime in Dredge can be frightful as you cross the dark and muddy waters, afraid of what lurks in the depths below. You could even see another ship like yours on the horizon, but you know there are no other fisherman in the Marrows. This is a massive ship-eating angler that spawns after 20:30. If you approach too close to the ship, it will begin hunting you until 3:30 a.m.

Serpent

In Dredge, the Serpent is a massive single-eyed monster. This abomination can be found in the waters between the cliffs of Gale Cliffs. You must be cautious while exploring this area, because the Serpent will pursue your spacecraft. The only way to escape Serpent is to outpace it, which requires a powerful engine.

Phantom Shark

Phantom Shark occurs in Gale Cliffs and Stellar Basin when the player is in a state of extreme terror. No matter how fast your engine is, once a Phantom Shark is on the trail, it will rapidly catch up to you. The only way to avoid a Phantom Shark is to use Banish.

Stellar Basin Creature

You may have noticed gigantic tentacles whipping out of the ocean while exploring Stellar Basin. A gigantic beast lurks under the Stellar Basin, and given the magnitude of its tentacles, it is the largest monster in Dredge. Tentacles will attack your ship if you fly over the center of Stellar Basin.

Leviathan

Leviathan, unlike other monsters, can attack you at any time while fishing in open waters. Attempting to leave the map is the greatest method to find Leviathan. If you try this several times, the Leviathan will emerge from the ocean and devour your ship.

Jelly Bomb

Jelly Bombs are explosive foes that may be found in Stellar Basin at night. When Jelly Bombs come into contact with a ship, they explode. To prevent destroying your spacecraft as you explore the dark waters of the Stellar Basin, you must be cautious and maneuver past any Jelly Bombs in your route.

Unseeing Mother

The mother of the piranhas located near Devil’s Spine is Unseeing Mother. When piranhas attack, the Unseeing Mother will hear its children’s cries and come to their aid. If you don’t want to be slain by Unseeing Mother, stay away from piranhas.

Mind Sucker

Mind Sucker has the capacity to make your character panic. Throughout the night, these glowing creatures can be found in Twisted Strad. You will construct a trap to kill these monsters while completing The Bitter End quest.
