Dua Lipa Returns to Korea for First Concert in Six Years
Dua Lipa is set to make her long-awaited return to South Korea, marking her first visit since 2018. Following an impressive demand for tickets, with 25,000 sold almost instantly, a second concert has been added. Fans can look forward to her performances on December 4 and 5 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul.
Excitement for the Upcoming Shows
In an exclusive written interview with Maeil Business Newspaper, Lipa expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Korean fans are so passionate that the shows are always fun. The energy of the fans is what stands out most. I’m really looking forward to being in the same space with everyone again.” She further revealed her creative plans, sharing, “I’m currently thinking about how to bring the new songs from my album to life on stage and plan to show a lot of dance performances as well.”
Potential Collaborations with Korean Artists
When asked about collaborations with Korean artists, Lipa acknowledged the talents of popular groups, saying, “It would be an honor just to think about it. I’ve loved watching BLACKPINK grow over the years, and with each member blossoming in their solo careers, it would be great to collaborate with one of them.” She reminisced about her 2018 partnership with BLACKPINK on the hit track “Kiss and Make Up,” noting that her admiration for their music sparked the collaboration.
Additionally, Lipa mentioned her interest in the rising girl group LE SSERAFIM: “They’ve had an incredible year, and it would be fun to work with them too.”
