EA FC 24 Festival of Football Patch Notes: Euro 2024 Mode, Rewards, More

The official patch notes for the upcoming Title Update 16 have been released by the devs in anticipation of the EA FC 24 Euro 2024 update on June 6.

The EA FC 24 community is currently immersed in a football frenzy as the Euros and Copa America have made their way into the game. The Ultimate Team mode will be honoring both tournaments by adding new player items to the game.

The upcoming Euro 2024 will also include a specialized tournament mode that showcases realistic team kits, stadiums, logos, and the official match ball.

The most recent update for EA FC 24 includes the addition of new face scans and the addition of the Cole Palmer celebration, along with other changes. The complete patch notes for the EA FC 24 Title Update 16 can be found below.

UEFA Euro 2024 Fashion

Starting the Game

• Experience the excitement of UEFA EURO 2024 by playing final, semi-final, and group-stage matches in nine genuine stadiums. Select your team from the 24 qualified teams, or challenge yourself by playing with any other European national team available in EA SPORTS FC 24 and compete against friends in local matches or against the CPU AI.
• Experience the excitement of the ‘Match of the Day’ fixture, which is regularly updated to include every match of the real-life tournament, leading up to the Final match.

Players can access the Euro 2024 experience through the Kick Off mode.

The tournaments for UEFA EURO 2024 will take place.

• Immerse yourself in the true UEFA EURO 2024 experience with authentic stadiums, broadcast packages, match ball, and the coveted trophy, capturing the electrifying atmosphere of the tournament on your screen. Engage in the official tournament mode, competing with the very teams that will be participating in the UEFA EURO 2024 tournament.

Take the lead for your Nation

• Embark on a journey to Berlin as you take on the role of a solo player or create a personalized Avatar to lead your chosen team. Whether you choose to control only one player or the entire national team, you can progress through the stages and earn up to seven PlayStyles by completing training drills before each match. These PlayStyles will elevate your gameplay as you guide your country to victory.

Online Friendly Matches

• Reignite your competitive spirit by experiencing the atmosphere of the UEFA EURO 2024 Final at the Olympiastadion Berlin through online friendlies. These matches give you the opportunity to challenge your friends with any of the 24 qualified teams or other European national squads featured in the game. Online cross-play with friends on the same platform generation will also be available.

The Trip to Europe

• Embark on the European Journey and earn rewards across your favourite game modes by completing challenges themed around the different ways to play UEFA EURO 2024. Completing all the challenges will earn you a reward to embark on a new journey. The final reward will be revealed after the tournament ends.

Ultimate Team

The celebration of Football.

• Kicking off the Festival of Football is Path to Glory. The Path to Glory Campaign follows each nation’s step towards silverware. The unique aspect of Path to Glory players is their ability to upgrade based on their nation’s form throughout the tournament.
• As a tribute to the all-time greats of the sport, we are not only showcasing current stars, but also paying homage to the legends of the game. The “Greats of the Game”collection will highlight ICONs and Heroes whose upgrades correspond to the number of goals their nation scores during the tournament, honoring the players who have made a lasting impact on the sport.

Euro 2024-themed promos are coming to Ultimate Team.

There are various new types of loans available.

• The existing Traditional Match Loans, with which many of you are already familiar, will not change. The two new loan types are in addition to Match Loans.
• Global Loans apply to all players simultaneously. Global Loans begin on a set date and time for everyone and count down to a predetermined end point together. When the timer reaches zero, the loan item will no longer be usable and will be removed from your club.
• The expiration date for the Festival of Football Global Loans is July 18.

Additional Updates

The gameplay remains the same.

• Introducing a highly anticipated new skill move, the Double Touch Lane Change, which is sure to impress players with its technical finesse on the field. Although this addition will be released at a later date, it will be well worth the wait for those who thrive on displaying their skillful abilities.
• We’re bringing a new celebration to the game. Inspired by Cole Palmer’s standout season at Chelsea, this celebration can be executed with Cole Palmer across Kickoff, Career, and Football Ultimate Team modes. For those look

Star Heads refer to the prominent individuals or leaders in a particular field or industry.

• EA SPORTS FC 24’s Title Update #16 introduces 27 fresh player star heads. These new additions include enhanced likenesses of Premier League players such as Rodri, Sven Botman, Pedro Porro, and Eberechi Eze.

Manager Career

• Youth Prospects scouting and development is a big part of Manager Career experience. For our Manager Career enthusiasts, we’ve made changes in Title Update #16 that will bring new and exciting additions to the youth system.
  • Over the course of your Manager Career you will be able to scout Youth Prospects with 90+ potential and seven PlayStyles. Such players that came through your Youth Academy will now develop two PlayStyles+! The first PlayStyle+ will be unlocked at 80 OVR and second will be unlocked at 90 OVR. This is the only way possible in Manager Career to have a player with two PlayStyles+.

Clubs

• For our Clubs players, we’re adding a permanent double XP multiplier to any experience gained after a match in FC 24. Which means accelerated progression for your Virtual Pro – faster way to unlock extra slots and different available PlayStyles for your Virtual Pro. By simply playing any match in Clubs (ex. drop-in or league game) you will notice an increased amount of earned XP. And remember that the amount of XP is also based on the Match Rating – the better your performance in the game the faster the progression.
