Does EA FC 25 have Crossplay?
Yes, EA FC 25 does support crossplay. However, players are grouped by platform generation. This means users on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC can play together, while Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players can only compete against each other.
Players on current-generation consoles cannot play with those on older-generation consoles and vice versa.
Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch does not support crossplay, but you can still play with other Switch owners.
How to enable Crossplay in EA FC 25?
Crossplay is enabled by default in EA FC 25.
If you experience any issues with crossplay, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Main Menu
- Open EA Connect
- Go to the Social tab
- Select Social Settings
- Click on Cross-Play
- Choose Cross-Play Settings
- Under Cross-Play Enabled, select ‘Yes’
You can also access these settings by going to Main Menu > Customise > Online Settings > Matchmaking Options.
For crossplay settings from Ultimate Team, go to Main Menu > Ultimate Team > Settings > Matchmaking Settings.
Once crossplay is activated, you can add friends from the Social tab. You can invite them to join your squad for Ultimate Team, Co-Op, and Pro Clubs matches. Please note that you cannot enable or disable crossplay during a match.

Does EA FC 25 support cross-progression?
Cross-progression is limited to the same platform. For instance, if you play on PlayStation 4, you can transfer your progress to PlayStation 5. The same applies for Xbox One to Xbox Series X/S. However, switching from PlayStation to Xbox or vice versa is not possible.
Additionally, cross-progression on PlayStation is only available in the Ultimate Team mode.
