In response to valuable community feedback, EA has implemented significant updates to the Champions qualifiers, finals, and the rewards system, enhancing the overall gameplay experience for fans.
As part of the exciting kickoff for Season 4, EA brought back the beloved Winter Wildcards promo. Coupled with this, a substantial gameplay update was released on December 4, known as the First Frost update.
Overview of EA FC 25 Champions Changes
This update introduced exciting new PlayStyles and focuses, a buff to the drag-back skill move, a solution to the ongoing kick-off glitch, and enhancements to offside logic. Players have responded positively, appreciating the resolution of some of the game’s most pressing issues.
Moreover, the continuous influx of new content, such as the Thunderstruck and Globetrotters promos, has maintained player engagement and enthusiasm.
During the initial three weeks of Season 4, players can earn guaranteed campaign player packs that include Winter Wildcards, Winter Wildcard Heroes, and NumeroFUT players. The rewards become even more enticing in the final two weeks, featuring minimum OVR campaign mix packs and picks, showcasing Winter Wildcards, Winter Wildcard Heroes, Winter Wildcard ICONs, and NumeroFUT players.
Previously, in Season 3, players needed to accumulate 1,000 Champions Qualification Points by competing and succeeding in Division Rivals matches to qualify for the Champions Finals. However, EA has extended the duration of the Champions Finals in Season 4, now running from Friday through Tuesday instead of concluding on Monday.
In addition to these changes, both Division Rivals and Squad Battles have been revamped, providing players with new opportunities to unlock Campaign Mix Packs and player picks throughout the season.
This proactive approach by EA indicates their commitment to improving player experience and satisfaction, paving the way for an engaging gaming environment.
