EA FC 25 Fans Furious as Pay to Win Premium Season Pass Leaks

EA FC 25 Fans Furious as Pay to Win Premium Season Pass Leaks

As the September 27 release date for EA FC 25 is confirmed, leaks have begun to reveal its mechanics. However, the rumors of a Premium Season Pass have sparked anger among players.

According to the trustworthy source FUT Sheriff, EA FC 25 is expected to offer two separate season passes. While one will be complimentary, the other will require payment and is expected to provide much more valuable rewards.

In all past iterations, players could obtain Ultimate Team seasonal rewards without cost by achieving the necessary XP. While there were multiple ways to earn XP in UT, none of them required spending money.

Although it was certainly possible to purchase kits using FC Points to obtain a significant amount of XP, it was entirely up to the individual and the majority of players preferred to use in-game coins instead.

The leak sparked great frustration among fans, with one player expressing shock and predicting that the upcoming game would be the worst on all fronts.

“Another disgruntled fan suggested rephrasing the statement to indicate that we will receive an unnecessary and ineffectual pass, and that the current free pass will now require payment,”while some fans directly accused the game of being “pay to win.”

Despite constant accusations of being pay to win, FIFA and EA FC have surprised many with their recent decision. In previous titles, purchasing the season pass was an easy way to obtain more packs, but this may not be the case anymore.

“Another player commented with over 3000 likes at the time of writing, stating that the pressure to spend even more money on the game was awful.”

Nevertheless, it is important to remember that this information is still based on speculation and has not been officially verified by EA Sports. Therefore, it should be taken with caution. Although a reveal trailer has already been released, further details will likely be revealed leading up to the game’s early access launch on September 20.
