EA FC 25 players have discovered a significant glitch that allows them to control the opposing goalkeeper, moving them away from their goal net.
Since the release of EA FC 25 in late September, fans have experienced a mix of excitement and frustration. The new Rush mode quickly gained popularity, alongside the revamped tactics and formations.
Nevertheless, player dissatisfaction has risen since the game’s launch. While some criticize the gameplay quality, others are particularly troubled by various glitches and exploits.
Among the most alarming exploits is the ability to disrupt the opponent’s set-pieces and a kick-off glitch that offers an almost immediate scoring chance.
Recently, another glitch has emerged, enabling players to manipulate their adversary’s goalkeeper. Yes, it’s true—you can reposition their goalkeeper to create an open goal opportunity.
This glitch only occurs during set-pieces—such as free-kicks, corners, and throw-ins—meaning the goalkeeper cannot be moved during regular gameplay. Still, this has already become a significant concern.
For all the people asking why I’ve shared this, please use your head.If you had it happen against you, you’d be fuming. It’s to spread awareness to get it patched quicker. You can obviously still move the keeper yourself and override your opponents. It’s not rocket science.

Twitch streamer RubanACR, who brought this glitch to light, stated, “This game is so broken. If you found yourself on the receiving end of this, you’d be frustrated. I’m sharing this to raise awareness for a swift patch.”
Other players have echoed his sentiments, explaining their own experiences. “I’ve seen this happen to me, and I couldn’t understand why my keeper was moving randomly,” stated one user. “Now I get why my keeper was shifting during Rush last night,” another commented.
It’s important to note that exploiting this glitch could result in penalties from EA SPORTS, including potential bans. Although a fix has yet to be implemented, the company has been actively addressing glitches, having previously patched the speed boost exploit.
With this in mind, it’s likely that this issue will be resolved soon.
