Although EA FC 25 is not set to launch until September 20 in early access, the initial list of Premier League Player of the Month nominees has been announced, and fans can participate in voting for the winner.

This season promises a plethora of special Ultimate Team cards, with promotional events like Road to the Knockouts already revealed. As the Premier League season progresses, fans have the opportunity to vote for the best player each month, with the winner earning a unique in-game SBC.

Erling Haaland leads the August nominees, having scored seven goals in just three matches, propelling Manchester City to the top of the league standings. Close behind on goal difference is Liverpool, with star player Mo Salah also recognized for being involved in six of the team’s seven goals so far this season.

Furthermore, Brighton’s Danny Welbeck makes the list after contributing two goals in his first two appearances, helping his team reach third place.

How to Vote for EA FC Premier League POTM

  1. Visit the official EA Sports Player of the Month website.
  2. Click on ‘View nominees’ beneath the Premier League logo.
  3. Hover over your preferred player to vote.
  4. Click ‘Vote now.’
  5. Follow EA Sports and Premier League social media for the winner announcement.

Once voting concludes, EA Sports will reveal the winner across their official channels. The chosen player will receive a special POTM card SBC in EA FC 25, featuring upgraded stats, which players can earn through a Squad Building Challenge.

However, it remains unclear whether the August winner will indeed receive an SBC, as the game’s official launch is at the end of September. In EA FC 24, James Maddison from Spurs was awarded the August title and promptly received an SBC when the Ultimate Team servers went live. In previous years, the first Premier League POTM card wasn’t released until the announcement of the September winner.

It’s uncertain what direction the developers will take this time, but voting is open, allowing fans to influence the final decision.
