The Team of the Year promo is one of the most anticipated events in Ultimate Team. This year, it will celebrate the best players of 2024 with exclusive blue cards featuring significantly enhanced stats. However, due to their high demand, these cards can be elusive, making it essential to prepare in advance.

Kickoff Date for EA FC 25 TOTY Warm-Up Event

The EA FC 25 TOTY Warm-Up event is set to launch on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, just prior to the main TOTY event which begins on Friday, January 17, 2025. This timeline affords players a few days to accumulate valuable packs, enhancing their chances of securing at least one coveted blue card.

Understanding the TOTY Warm-Up Promotion

The TOTY Warm-Up serves as a mini-promotion designed to engage players with a variety of Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and objectives. Completing these will reward players with packs, offering numerous chances to obtain a rare Team of the Year card without spending real money.

While there won’t be new player items available in packs during this phase—due to the ongoing Numero FUT event—there is still plenty to accomplish. Players can look forward to Daily Login SBCs and, as revealed by insider Fut Sheriff, position-specific packs as part of the event.

As in prior years, the release of the men’s and women’s Team of the Year cards will not occur simultaneously. Instead, players can expect a staggered release, starting with attackers on January 17.

The special packs during the TOTY Warm-Up will include players from the positions currently available, increasing your chances of securing a TOTY card. Once the event goes live, navigate to the Objectives tab to discover all the available challenges.
