EA FC 25 is gearing up to be filled with exciting promos and events, with EA SPORTS unveiling the first confirmed campaign of the season: Total Rush.
The Ultimate Team mode empowers fans to create their dream squads featuring the top players from around the globe. However, regular promotions introduce new and thrilling cards to keep the community engaged, including beloved events like Team of the Season and innovative experiences we haven’t encountered before.
With the launch of FC 25 on September 20, 2024, the new campaign titled ‘Total Rush’ has been officially announced. Below is the start date and all the details we have regarding the event so far.
Start Date
The EA FC 25 Total Rush promo is set to commence on Friday, October 11, 2024, as confirmed by the developers in a pre-launch blog post.
It’s important to note that Season 1 is also titled Total Rush, which will become active on September 19 when the Web App launches and the Ultimate Team servers go live. The Total Rush season will span six weeks, while the promo is expected to last for either one or two weeks.
Season 1 of Ultimate Team is also branded as Total Rush.
What is Total Rush in FC 25?
Total Rush is a promotional event in EA FC 25 that introduces new cards specifically designed for Rush, the new 5v5 mode being added to Ultimate Team.
These condensed matches occur on a smaller pitch, providing less space to maneuver. As a result, we anticipate that the cards released during the event will emphasize agility and dribbling, allowing players to maintain ball control and navigate tight spaces effectively.
Details are limited regarding the distribution of these cards, whether they will be included in packs like previous promos, but there will be “Total Rush Quartets” available through Season Progress.
These quartets consist of four cards from the same league that complement each other and cover all outfield positions. All players need is to select their preferred goalkeeper to form a competitive Rush team.
For instance, one quartet from MLS has already been revealed, featuring a defender, two wingers, and a striker.
All Confirmed Total Rush Cards So Far
- Luis Muriel (Orlando City)
- Andreu Fontas (Sporting Kansas City)
- Nacho Gil (New England Revolution)
- Ryan Gauld (Vancouver Whitecaps)
Currently, only four Total Rush players have been announced, all hailing from the USA. These players can be unlocked throughout Season 1, either as part of the overall Season Progress or as rewards for specific challenges.
EA SPORTS has also teased that more “famous faces” will be unveiled when the promo officially launches on October 11.
