In the vibrant world of Slap Battles, players have access to a unique array of gloves, each endowed with special abilities that can be unlocked through slaps or by completing specific challenges. One of the latest additions is the Untitled Tag Glove, and to equip it, players must earn the Hurt Me Plenty badge. Below is a comprehensive guide on securing this achievement.
Unlocking the Hurt Me Plenty Badge
To successfully earn the Hurt Me Plenty badge, players need to travel to Brazil and conquer the Untitled Tag Glove obby (obstacle course). The goal is to navigate your way to the top of the course, although there is also an alternative method to obtain the badge which involves giving up. For starters, you’ll need to access the portal leading to Brazil.
Reaching Brazil in Slap Battles
Begin your journey by purchasing a glove capable of flying you to the Brazil portal. The Balloony glove is highly recommended since it is available for just 10,500 slaps, a reasonable price if you have been actively playing. Alternatively, the Poltergeist glove can also be used, though it requires completing a challenge for access.
Once you’ve secured one of these gloves, navigate to the Normal Arena and locate the floating rock adorned with a pink tree, connected to another rock by chains. Look for the glove platform overhead, and beneath it, you will see a purple portal with a green outline.
Your next step is to inflate three balloons by pressing the “E” key, which will lift you toward the portal. Utilize directional keybinds to maneuver in midair. If you find it challenging to reach in one ascent, you can land on the taller green tree on the neighboring rock and reinflate your balloons to reach the portal. Alternatively, the Poltergeist glove allows for a direct flight to the portal.
Conquering the Untitled Tag Glove Obby
Upon entering Brazil, exit the spawning area, and you will quickly notice a tall stack of houses nearby—this marks the start of the Untitled Tag Glove obby. To earn the Hurt Me Plenty badge, you must successfully complete this parkour challenge. While it’s relatively manageable, certain strategies can enhance your experience:
- The clock chimes at unpredictable intervals, causing your character to ragdoll. Stay alert, as this can disrupt your progress. Take it slow to avoid falling.
- Be prepared for the clock chime. Afterward, secure yourself in a safe spot like a house or an opening in the obstacles. When on top of the ball later in the course, synchronize your jump just after the bell rings to mitigate the ragdoll effect.
- A chiming clock can shift gravity by raising or lowering it. Utilize low gravity moments to navigate the obstacles more effectively.
At the conclusion of the parkour course, you will find a banner inviting you to enter the Ultimate Parkour Challenge. Click on this banner to be teleported to TOH (Tower of Hell). Here, you have two approaches to earn the Hurt Me Plenty badge: either conquer the TOH parkour or embrace defeat.
If you find the TOH challenge daunting, a simpler alternative exists: simply type I’M A LOSER in the chat and click on the corresponding banner. This will unlock the Hurt Me Plenty badge, and you will be transported back to the main lobby, where you can now claim the Untitled Tag Glove!
This glove boasts impressive stats with 50/75 Power and 15 Speed, providing abilities such as a super slide, auto-dash upon slapping an opponent while running, and the release of a substantial block when pressing jump midair.
