The Egg system is the feature that could benefit the most from changes, as it is a hot topic among Pokemon Go fans.
There are numerous aspects to appreciate about Pokemon Go, such as the diverse range of Pokemon and special events. However, there are also some glitches and frustrating elements that could benefit from an update or enhancement. One of these areas is the Egg system.
In theory, hatching an Egg in Pokemon Go should be an exhilarating experience. The process involves walking a significant distance, and the hatched baby Pokemon is chosen from a specific pool of Pokemon. This pool often includes rare and intriguing Pokemon.
Despite spending time playing Pokemon Go or browsing online discussions about the game, it is evident that the Egg system in Pokemon Go is not without flaws. Numerous players have expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of variety in the Egg pool, inconvenience of incubators, and frustration with the absence of a discard option.
These are legitimate concerns, particularly concerning the discard button. It can be frustrating not being able to remove Eggs, causing some players to decline opening Gifts when their bag still has space for another Egg. It would be beneficial to have the ability to transfer Eggs in a future update.
The Egg pool is subject to change, particularly during events, but it’s understandable that players may be frustrated with their Egg hauls.
Fans have recently expressed their opinions about the current online Egg pool, with one criticizing it by stating that “everything is trash”, in reference to the limited selection of Pokemon that can currently be obtained from hatching Eggs.
In the meantime, a different player expressed their viewpoint on incubators, stating that in their opinion, the cost was not justified. The high price of incubators can be prohibitive for certain players, making it difficult for them to participate in events like the recent Cleffa Hatch Day.
Obtaining a rare Pokemon, such as Larvesta and Charcadet, may only be possible by hatching an Egg in certain situations. As a player, it is a crucial mechanic that cannot be overlooked, therefore, a revamp of Egg hatching in Pokemon Go would likely bring satisfaction to many community members.
The recent avatar controversy has shown that the Pokemon Go team is highly receptive to community feedback and concerns. Given that there have been disgruntled Egg-hatchers since the game’s inception, it is likely that we may see a response to these concerns.
The potential for Eggs to be incredibly thrilling in Pokemon Go is undeniable. One solution to make them even more captivating could be to increase the frequency of rotation in the Egg pool. By constantly introducing new Egg Pokemon and implementing features like the ability to discard unwanted Eggs, this aspect of the game would become much more enjoyable.
