In addition to Shanks overpowering the Barto Club and testing Bartolomeo’s loyalty, Chapter 1126 also focuses on Hachinosu Island, where Blackbeard expresses his frustration over Koby’s escape, directing his ire at Pizarro.
During the altercation, Shanks offers Bartolomeo a deadly choice: poison Straw Hat Captain Monkey D. Luffy within a month or face dire consequences. To Bartolomeo’s shock, after drinking the poison that Shanks provided, he finds it is harmless.
It becomes clear that Shanks was merely playacting as a villain and wanted to test Bartolomeo’s allegiance to Luffy, showcasing his protective nature towards the spirited pirate.
Pizarro expresses regret and ire over Koby’s escape, congratulating Kuzan for successfully capturing Garp, a more valuable asset for negotiations given his notoriety throughout the pirate world.
The narrative then shifts once more to Luffy and the Straw Hats sailing towards Elbaf. In a sudden turn of events, the Thousand Sunny disappears, along with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and a few others, leaving the rest of the crew in shock.
Dorry and Brogy Want to Duke it Out on Elbaf
Dorry and Brogy destroy all the weapons they use, reminiscent of an incident seven years prior when they attempted to defeat the Island Eater.
With their weapons gone, they resort to hand-to-hand combat, which leads to dissatisfaction as their battles end prematurely. Oimo and Kashii urge the giants to continue their epic fight on Elbaf, where they can truly unleash their power.
Blackbeard Gets Garp
Meanwhile, at Hachinosu, Blackbeard, who has just returned, is infuriated by Koby’s escape. He lashes out at Pizarro while acknowledging Kuzan’s success in capturing Garp, who was attempting to rescue Koby.
With Garp being a far greater asset than Koby, Blackbeard ultimately accepts the outcome of these events.
Luffy and the Straw Hats Disappear
Afterward, the timeline shifts back to two days following the Egghead Island incident. The Straw Hats, accompanied by Lilith, are on their way to Elbaf Island. However, a mysterious tragedy strikes, causing several crew members, including Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Chopper, and Usopp, along with the Thousand Sunny, to suddenly vanish.
The remaining crew members and Lilith are left on the ship, stunned by what transpired. The chapter concludes with Nami awakening in an unfamiliar room, dressed in Viking-style clothing, possibly indicative of Elbaf’s culture, and remarking that she has just awakened from too much drinking.
