The producer of the widely-known Elden Ring comic series has decided to temporarily pause its development in order to join the rest of the community in playing the Shadow of the Erdtree downloadable content.

Due to this, Nikiichi Tobita, the author of Elden Ring: Road to the Erdtree, proudly announced a slight delay in the manga’s release schedule. It appears that they also want to experience the DLC just like everyone else.

Tobita posted on their X account, announcing that after the 45th chapter of the Elden Ring manga is released, they will be taking a break to play the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
There is a strong desire among manga fans for the characters and storylines from the DLC to be incorporated into Road to the Erdtree. In fact, some have directly inquired if the hiatus is being used as a “research trip”for this purpose.
