Elden Ring Manga Delayed for Author to Play Shadow of the Erdtree

The producer of the widely-known Elden Ring comic series has decided to temporarily pause its development in order to join the rest of the community in playing the Shadow of the Erdtree downloadable content.

It can be extremely challenging to take time off during a highly anticipated game release while working in the gaming industry. Calling in sick or scheduling a dentist appointment at the same time may not be effective, as colleagues are likely to be aware of the true reason for the absence.

The creator of the Elden Ring: Road to the Erdtree manga is not offering any excuses. Shadow of the Erdtree, with its record-breaking reviews and our own perfect score, is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated video game expansions of all time.

Due to this, Nikiichi Tobita, the author of Elden Ring: Road to the Erdtree, proudly announced a slight delay in the manga’s release schedule. It appears that they also want to experience the DLC just like everyone else.

Tobita posted on their X account, announcing that after the 45th chapter of the Elden Ring manga is released, they will be taking a break to play the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

There is a strong desire among manga fans for the characters and storylines from the DLC to be incorporated into Road to the Erdtree. In fact, some have directly inquired if the hiatus is being used as a “research trip”for this purpose.

To those who are not familiar with the Elden Ring manga, Road to the Erdtree is a comical adventure that guides readers through the Lands between. It offers a different perspective from the game’s serious atmosphere, featuring sassier versions of its characters and incorporating popular memes and inside jokes into the story.

You can access the initial chapters of the manga through comic-walker online. If you enjoy the content, the thought of embarking on thrilling adventures in the Land of Shadows should be enthralling.
