Elden Ring Patch Brings Torrent to Final Boss Battle

The latest update for Elden Ring, version 1.12, introduces a new feature that allows players to summon Torrent during the final boss fight.

Boss battles are undeniably the most difficult aspect of Souls games, and this holds true for Elden Ring as well. Even top streamers like Kai Cenat had to endure hours of grinding in order to emerge victorious against formidable foes like Mohg and Malenia.

Elden Beast, the ultimate boss in the game, poses a significant challenge with its towering size and infuriating powers. In light of this, players have frequently expressed the need for a feature that would enable them to summon Torrent the Spectral Steed, providing them with the ability to evade attacks and navigate the battlefield with greater ease.

The recently released Shadow of the Erdtree DLC includes a new patch, version 1.21, which introduces modifications to the original game. One of these changes allows players to summon a Spectral Steed during the boss battle against Elden Beast.

Shortly after the patch was released, gamers quickly took to social media to post their experiences encountering the Elden Beast while riding Torrent, sharing clips on platforms like Twitter.

A particular player stated, “I always had a feeling that Torrent was intended to be involved in that boss battle.”

“Another person added, “Wow, I can’t believe they actually took the complaints into consideration. I already thought the fight was amazing. It’s perfect that Torrent is the one to end your journey with you.”

Another player chimed in, expressing frustration with the constant chasing of Elden Beast from one end of the arena to the other during the fight.

One additional person commented, “In the past two weeks, I have already completed the game twice in order to earn achievements. My friends have also been doing the same, and we all struggled with this particular aspect of the fight. However, I am relieved that future attempts will include this challenge.”

In addition to being able to summon the Spectral Steed during the final boss battle, the update 1.12 in Elden Ring also provides players with the option to choose from five new hairstyles, enable or disable individual Summoning Pools, and access various other features.
