Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Stream to Rival Kai Cenat’s

YouTube personality Ludwig has announced an exclusive Elden Ring DLC live stream, outlining four strict rules to increase the difficulty of his gameplay.

After two years since its initial release, FromSoftware’s highly anticipated Elden Ring DLC, ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’, has finally been launched to widespread critical acclaim. Its overwhelming popularity among critics has even broken the record for the highest rated DLC on Metacritic.

The release of the DLC has sparked renewed enthusiasm among players for Elden Ring, with several prominent streamers announcing their intentions to livestream their playthrough on their channels.

Like Kai Cenat, who was one of the first to announce his Shadow of the Erdtree stream, Ludwig has now also revealed his own plans.

“In a post on Twitter/X, he declared his achievement of completing the Elden Ring DLC in a single stream without any summons, magic, help, or maidens.”

“I will see you at that location.”

On June 21, 2024 at 12pm PT/3pm ET, viewers can catch Ludwig’s DLC marathon stream on his YouTube channel by visiting his channel. Fans of Ludwig will not want to miss this event.

Fans immediately flooded the comments section with their thoughts, with a large number expressing excitement for the marathon stream.

“Squeex exclaimed, ‘Leapin luddy strikes again,’ as the Twitch streamer shared on their profile.”

“Another individual exclaimed, “I am preparing my snacks to sit at my computer and watch Ludwig’s pain like a grown-up.”

“Here we go, I still love your Elden Ring stream from two years ago! Can’t wait to see you play it again,”a third person commented.

Kai Cenat’s approach to his marathon, in which he relied solely on his blade to defeat every boss without using summons or magic, closely mirrors Ludwig’s rules.

As both him and Kai Cenat embark on marathon streams, it will be a competition to see who can complete the race first and prove their skill in Elden Ring.

After the game’s launch, Ludwig spent over 100 hours playing through the original version before finally reaching the end. Despite a mishap where the stream VOD was deleted, it has been successfully restored to his channel.

“In addition to Shadow of the Erdtree, another game has dominated Twitch in June. Chained Together, a co-op game for four players similar to “Only Up”, was released on Steam and quickly gained a large following on the platform. On its launch day, the Twitch category for the game had nearly 200,000 viewers.”
