Elon Musk Enhances PoE 2 Account During Trump’s Inauguration After Acknowledging Boosting

Elon Musk’s account-sharing saga took a surprising twist on January 20 when Twitch streamer Quin69 reported seeing the tech magnate’s character actively grinding in Path of Exile (PoE) while he was physically present at Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The controversy began weeks earlier, as gaming enthusiasts noticed discrepancies in Musk’s PoE gameplay. Despite boasting a high rank, he exhibited several novice-level mistakes, leading many to speculate that he might be letting someone else play on his account.

Following a heated exchange with prominent streamer Asmongold about these alleged actions, Musk confessed to account sharing in private messages that YouTuber NikoWrex later revealed.

Real-Time Gaming During an Inaugural Event

Interestingly, while notable figures like Jake and Logan Paul were in attendance at the inauguration, Musk’s PoE character was still active in gameplay. This odd occurrence caught the attention of Quin69, who was broadcasting live as he flipped between Musk’s gaming session and the event.

Musk was spotted alongside tech titans Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos, effectively highlighting the juxtaposition of his real-world commitments with his virtual gaming pursuits. While experiencing a high-profile event, Quin69 exclaimed, “Elon, how are you there? You’re in a map right now, level 96, but I can see you here!”

In a discussion with NikoWrex, Musk explained his rationale behind account sharing. He stated that, without it, competing against players from Asia would have been virtually “impossible.” Nevertheless, his overall gaming skills have been acknowledged; even Asmongold admitted that Musk is “pretty good.”

Moreover, Grimes, Musk’s former partner, defended his gaming abilities, noting, “the father of my children was the first American Druid in Diablo to clear Abattoir of Zir and finished that season ranked best in the USA.”

Adding to Musk’s gaming credentials, he also became recognized as one of the top Diablo 4 players when he managed to clear a level 150 Pit in under two minutes back in November.
