According to press interviews, the upcoming fourth season of Emily in Paris will showcase the largest love triangle yet. However, it remains to be seen if the question of who ends up with the girl has already been resolved.
The anticipation will soon come to an end as Emily in Paris Season 4 returns within a few weeks – at least, the first part will. During the previous season, Alfie ended his relationship with Emily and Camille shocked Gabriel with the news of her pregnancy.
Despite the unspoken implication that the baby belongs to Gabriel, he is not fully committed to Camille after she revealed breaking a pact made with Emily. As the show progresses, Emily finds herself torn between two love interests – although the cast may have already hinted at who she ultimately chooses.
Reddit users with keen observation skills have gathered a collection of interviews in which multiple cast members hint that Gabriel is the most probable candidate to end up with Emily… though this revelation was not entirely unexpected.
One fan posted that they are team Gabriel and believe that Emily will end up with him based on statements made by various cast members. They feel that from their readings, it strongly suggests that Gabriel is the one for Emily.
In an interview with Vogue, Lucas Bravo shared that he was completely enamored with Emily, referring to her as his “soulmate.”In a separate interview with Deadline, creator Darren Star confirmed that Alfie is no longer a romantic contender for Emily.
“Another fan chimed in, saying that they believe Emily and Gabriel are meant to be together since that was the initial premise of the show and they personally ship them, despite all the complications. However, only time will tell.”
A third person also shared their thoughts, saying, “In my opinion, it has been evident from the start that Gabriel is the ultimate endgame.”Another individual added, “The chemistry between Gabriel and Em is unbeatable, and no one else even comes close.”
“I believe many people share the opinion that Alfie and Emily are an unlikely pair, myself included,”a fifth person summarized.
At this point, it has been confirmed that both Gabriel and Alfie will appear in Season 4 of Emily in Paris… but that is the extent of our knowledge. Nevertheless, Star informed Netflix that romance may not be the main focus for Emily.
“As described by the spokesperson, Season 4 of Emily in Paris will see Emily with a jam-packed travel itinerary. Viewers will be taken on a virtual tour through stunning destinations, from the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, all through Emily’s perspective. Along with new characters and increased drama and romance, audiences can also look forward to Emily tackling a new language.”
