Is Olivia Siegel Still Alive?
After witnessing Sugar’s determination to solve the last case and find Olivia, Henry decides to provide him with an address to help him directly. The protagonist is taken aback when Henry gives Sugar the address, but he is grateful for the assistance.
Sugar was also frustrated and slightly angry for not being informed about Olivia’s whereabouts. They were aware that Olivia was missing and needed assistance, and they were upset that they were not told about it sooner.
Despite finally receiving the details that had been kept from him for so long, Sugar was faced with the irony of life as he hurried to the place alone, knowing that Melanie had left him for good within just one hour.
The property is owned by Pavich, a US Senator, and appears to be unoccupied. The detective enters with his usual understated but effective approach.
Sugar enters the room, searching for any clues that may link Olivia to the outside world. As he learns about her struggles with alcoholism, he overhears voices coming from another room.
The young man, dressed in a police uniform, spots Sugar inside the house and becomes suspicious. He handcuffs Sugar and places him in the back of his patrol vehicle, but Sugar eventually convinces him that there are serious problems inside the house.
The policeman’s attention is immediately caught when he is informed that a young woman is being held captive, potentially in the basement, at the location. He leads the detective back into the house to inspect for themselves.
After an intense turn of events, a police officer returns home and comes across Sugar, a dubious intruder, lurking around his residence. Although the officer is initially inclined to be lenient, his determination changes drastically when he discovers that a woman is being held captive.
The escalating tensions between Sugar and Pavich Jr. result in a harrowing confrontation that ultimately ends in tragedy as Pavich Jr. takes his own life.
Witnesses are in a state of shock as the detective uncovers a concealed basement compartment, where Olivia Siegel, the missing woman, is surprisingly found alive. This gripping story highlights the unpredictable nature of human behavior in life-or-death scenarios.
3. Why Was Olivia’s Kidnapper Being Protected?
In episode 7 of Sugar, it is finally revealed that Olivia Siegel was not intentionally targeted by her own family. Instead, she had unknowingly become a victim of the notorious human trafficker, Byron Stallings. The details and motive behind her kidnapping have not yet been disclosed.
Despite this, Stallings kidnapped the woman and subsequently transferred her to Pavich Jr. It is possible that Olivia’s activism and outspokenness against the man or his senator father had made her a target.
Sugar discovered various instruments of torture in the location, suggesting that Pavich Jr was a deeply disturbed individual who likely kidnapped and subjected women to torture. Olivia was among the victims he had taken hostage.
According to Christensen, the reason for the alien group hiding the man on Earth was because Pavich Jr, or possibly his senator father, had discovered their true identities.
The senator was aware that the group, particularly the private investigator who was looking for Olivia, were all extraterrestrial beings residing on Earth in disguise. He warned that he would expose their hidden identities if his son’s wrongdoings were not kept hidden.
The aliens made an effort to keep Sugar away from Stallings, fearing that his involvement could lead to severe consequences and prevent him from reaching the perpetrator.
Despite Pavich Jr.’s death and the impending departure of the alien group, the fate of Sugar and any potential repercussions for his courageous deeds are yet to be revealed in the upcoming season finale episode. It is unknown whether he will be forced to remain on Earth or not.
