The 19th Asian Games will have a key match tonight. South Korea’s three major channels KBS, MBC, SBS and the integrated channel TV Chosun have announced that they will stop broadcasting evening programs to broadcast the event.
KBS will broadcast the men’s hockey bronze medal final between the Korean team and the Chinese team at 5 p.m., followed by the badminton men’s doubles semifinals and the badminton women’s doubles semifinals at 6 p.m. Therefore, it has been decided to suspend the broadcast of “Music Bank”which is broadcast every Friday at 5:15 pm, as well as “New Product Convenience Restaurant”originally scheduled to be broadcast at 8:30 pm and 7:50 pm The evening Japanese drama “Elegant Empire”will also be suspended. However, KBS 1TV’s evening Japanese drama “Yudang Langlang Family”will be broadcast as normal at 8:30 pm that day.
On MBC’s side, the Japanese drama “Fate in the Sky”, which airs every Monday to Friday at 7:05 pm, will be suspended.
On SBS’s side, “Curious Story Y”which airs every Friday at 9 pm and the golden soil drama “The Escape of Seven”which airs at 10 pm will also be suspended. Among them, “The Escape of 7″has all two episodes suspended this week, and episodes 7 and 8 will be broadcast next Friday and Saturday (13th and 14th).
TV Chosun will cancel the “North Korea Sports Meet”broadcast at 10pm every Friday and will broadcast the live broadcast of the Hangzhou Asian Games.
In addition, the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games started on September 23 and will last until October 8. A total of more than 40 projects were carried out and 482 gold medals were produced. Today is the 14th day of the competition, and South Korea ranks third overall with 33 gold medals.
