The recent update of Genshin Impact, version 5.2, has significantly expanded the Natlan region by introducing two new tribes, various saurian species, two additional playable characters, and an array of quests. Among these new adventures is the intriguing Tribal Chronicle quest that offers players unique challenges and discoveries.

During the Tribal Chronicle quest for the Masters of the Night Wind tribe, players will come across a sealed, hidden area that requires careful exploration and puzzle-solving skills. While the task may seem straightforward at first, it can prove to be quite challenging if players are unfamiliar with the Special Elemental Sight feature.

1. How to Solve the ‘Escape the Sealed Space’ Puzzle in Genshin Impact

To successfully navigate the ‘Escape the Sealed Space’ puzzle, players can follow these essential steps:

  • Transform into Iktomisaurus
  • Activate Special Elemental Sight on the wall
  • Utilize the Spiritspeaker State on the symbol
  • Enter the room and reapply Spiritspeaker State

This particular puzzle forms part of the Tribal Chronicle quest titled “Calling from the Masters of the Night Wind.”The quest itself provides hints that can assist players in overcoming the challenges presented.

To access the puzzle area, players must locate the portal situated behind the Masters of the Night Wind Obsidian Totem Pole. For those unsure of how to reach the Totem, the quest will offer guidance directly to the location.

1.1 Transform into Iktomisaurus

Upon gathering the clues, a cutscene will unfold featuring Paimon discussing your discoveries. You’ll spot a mark on the floor, next to which is an area designated for Saurian transformation. Utilize this feature to change into Iktomisaurus. Then, return to the golden mark to proceed to the next step.

1.2 Use Special Elemental Sight on the Wall

After transforming into Iktomisaurus, activate the Special Elemental Sight feature. This will reveal a red-colored mark on the wall, indicating your next move.

1.3 Use Spiritspeaker State on the Symbol

To proceed, press and hold the Normal Attack button to enable aimed mode, then target the mark for scanning. Upon successful completion, the wall will dissolve, granting access to the next room.

Once inside the new area, open the chest and activate the Spiritspeaker State using Iktomisaurus on the mark located in the left corner to reveal another altar. With the ability, place the altar on the elevated platform to facilitate your escape from the sealed area.

Upon completing these tasks, another cutscene will activate, showcasing a conversation between you and Paimon with an NPC. This marks the conclusion of the “Calling from the Masters of the Night Wind”quest.
