Despite the surprise appearance of Code’s Claw Grimes and their clones, the Shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga have bravely battled against the invasion led by Shinju Jura and Hidari. Although the manga teased the future threat of the sentient God Trees, fans were not prepared for the early confrontation with these new enemies.
The Hidden Leaf Village was invaded by the Shinju in order for Jura to consume Naruto Uzumaki. However, while tracking the Nine-Tailed Beast, they mistakenly targeted Himawari. As a result, Jura’s goal shifted to capturing Himawari. Fortunately, the Hidden Leaf Village’s Shinobi came to her aid. Let’s now examine the Boruto characters who are currently engaged in battle against Jura and Hidari.

Boruto Characters Fighting Jura
Inojin Yamanaka
In the previous chapter of the manga, Inojin Yamanaka attempted to protect Himawari from Jura. He utilized his Super Beast Scroll Jutsu to battle Jura, but quickly realized that his opponent was able to easily defend against it. Inojin then turned his attention to the God Tree and attempted to fight it, but was ultimately countered and impaled by Jura’s Wood-Style Jutsu.
Based on the manga, Inojin suffered a serious injury. However, fans may have to wait for the next chapter to receive confirmation of his condition.
Shikadai Nara
Just like Inojin and Chocho, Shikadai Nara from Team 10 is also striving to shield Himawari from Jura. However, unlike Inojin, who became agitated when Himawari was captured, Shikadai managed to remain composed and gather as much intel as he could to report to his father and other experienced Shinobi.
Chocho Akimichi
Despite not having the same level of intelligence as Shikadai, Chocho Akimichi is able to maintain emotional control when confronting Jura. She has consistently demonstrated her skill in executing the Ino-Shika-Cho formation flawlessly and is also capable of using her Partial Expansion Jutsu at a moment’s notice to protect her comrades.
Himawari Uzumaki
Despite the fact that God Tree Jura was pursuing Himawari Uzumaki because of the presence of Kurama’s chakra within her, Team 10 made efforts to prevent her from getting near the God Tree.
Furthermore, in the previous chapter, Himawari was finally able to tap into Kurama’s chakra. This has set the stage for her upcoming battle against Jura, as foreshadowed in the first sneak peek preview of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11.
Currently Fighting Hidari: Boruto Characters
1) Konoharu Sarutobi
In the previous chapter of the manga, Konohamaru Sarutobi and the Hidden Leaf Village Shinobi encountered Hidari within the village. Despite their desire to pursue Jura, they were unable to do so because of Hidari’s interference. This event foreshadowed Konohamaru’s upcoming battle against Hidari.
The second preview for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 from the manga has also teased the same information.
Sarada Uchiha
Upon arriving at Hidari’s location, Sarada Uchiha was immediately met with Hidari using Code’s Claw technique to teleport behind her. Acting quickly, he attempted to strike her with a Chidori. However, Sarada was able to activate her Sharingan just in time to dodge the attack. She then retaliated with her own Chidori.
Despite being knocked down, Hidari remained undefeated. Therefore, the fight between Boruto and Hidari will continue in the upcoming chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, chapter 11.
Sumire Kakei
When the Hidden Leaf Village was invaded by the Shinju, Sumire Kakei was accompanying Sarada Uchiha. As a result, she joined Sarada in reaching the epicenter of the battle against the Shinju. Like Sarada, she was able to reach the battlefield and fight alongside Konohamaru and Sarada against the Shinju Hidari.
