Terminus will be one of the launch maps for Black Ops 6 Zombies, and we currently have all the information known about it.
Revealed during Call of Duty Direct, two new Zombie maps, Liberty Falls and Terminus, will be available at launch. BO6 aims to reintroduce the popular round-based Zombies that fans have come to adore.
From the two maps, we have gained a greater understanding of Terminus compared to Liberty Falls. We have been provided with an in-depth preview of the map and its distinctive environment. Now, let’s delve into all the details.
Terminus Map Location and Story Details
Located on a distant prison island situated in the Philippine Sea of the Pacific Ocean, Terminus takes place on February 19, 1991 and carries on the Dark Aether storyline from Black Ops Cold War.
The Office of Requiem, including Grigori Weaver, Mac Carver, Dr. Elizabeth Grey, Stoney “Raptor one”Maddox, and Oskar Strauss, has been imprisoned on Terminus Island for over five years following the events of Cold War.
Despite being joined by a newcomer named Maya Aguinaldo, Dr. Peck successfully orchestrates a prison break but soon finds themselves caught in a zombie outbreak and must fight their way through it.

The remaining members of Requiem returns in Black Ops 6.
Based on the CoD Direct Showcase, the playable characters are Aguinaldo, Weaver, Carver, and Grey.
Terminus Gameplay Preview
Despite not providing many details on gameplay, the developers of Terminus’ reveal have confirmed that the new map will bring back round-based Zombies in Black Ops 6. From the information released so far, it is clear that this will be a major feature of the game.
Gobblegums, a controversial feature in Black Ops 3 due to its high cost and extensive grinding required, is also making a comeback.
Apart from that, our knowledge about Terminus’ gameplay is limited. However, the developers have announced that on August 8, they will be providing us with further information.
Terminus: A Remake of an Old Map
Terminus is a brand new map for Black Ops 6 Zombies, not one that has been previously released.
Despite CoD’s preference for island maps, such as Mob of the Dead being based on Alcatraz Island in Black Ops and Rebirth Island in Warzone, Terminus is set to stand out as a unique map located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean.
