The initial PV for the animated version of Sakamoto Days has unveiled the protagonist, Taro Sakamoto. Formerly renowned as the most skilled assassin ever, Sakamoto was once a slender and stylish youth with round, oversized glasses and a bun hairstyle. He is depicted smoking a cigarette and brandishing a firearm, easily defeating a group of opponents.

Despite choosing to settle down with his wife and becoming a father, it is evident that his previous life as a hitman has not completely left him. Although he now manages a store and has gained some weight, he continues to have frequent encounters with other assassins. Based on the video, it seems that there will be plenty of action in store for viewers as his past life continues to catch up with him.

The upcoming Sakamoto Days anime will showcase a variety of quirky characters, such as the suave and collected Sakamoto who is an assassin, his wife Aoi Sakamoto, and their daughter Hana.

In addition to Shin, a character with telepathic powers, and Lu Shaotang, a skilled martial artist, there are other significant characters in the manga. Fans of the series can anticipate the introduction of intriguing assassins such as Nagumo and Uzuki as the story continues.
