The Sims 4 is set to roll out two exciting new kits: the Artist Studio Kit and the Storybook Nursery Kit. These kits, while smaller in scale compared to other game packs, enhance the gameplay experience by introducing new items and cosmetics tailored to specific themes. Recently, EA provided a sneak peek of these upcoming additions through a brief video clip.
In addition to the highly anticipated Life and Death-themed expansion pack, players can look forward to the introduction of these two new kits. A recent blog post from the developers has offered more details on what players can expect from each of these kits.

The Sims 4 Artist Studio Kit emphasizes art and creativity. According to EA, this kit allows players to “set up your new easel in the center of your studio,” surrounded by essential tools like brushes, paint cans, and “new inspiring still-life objects” that can serve as references or sources of inspiration.
While Sims already have the opportunity to explore various creative ventures, this kit aims to broaden their artistic experience with new tools such as a tablet and woodworking table, encouraging players to immerse their Sims in different art forms beyond just painting.
The Sims 4 Storybook Nursery Kit

The Sims 4 Storybook Nursery Kit, on the other hand, offers a whimsical and dreamy aesthetic with a sophisticated flair. This kit provides a range of delightful items for newborns, infants, and toddlers, including “delicately” crafted toys, charming wallpaper, ornate cribs, bassinets, beds, and a sweeping canopy, complemented by a “tasteful chandelier,” among other features.
This kit was developed in collaboration with SixamCC, a well-known creator in the community recognized for their diverse custom content and furniture items. This collaboration follows previous partnerships with community creators, such as the Urban Homage kit.
Both The Sims 4 Artist Studio Kit and Storybook Nursery Kit are scheduled for release on September 19, 2024.
